On May 1, 1960, Dayton Molzen, who at the time worked for Wilson & Company, loads up his Chevy and drives from Salina, Kansas, to Albuquerque, New Mexico to start his own company – D.F. Molzen & Associates. He has a transit that Mr. Wilson lent him…and with that, the company is off and running. Dayton’s first order of business is to rent office space at 229B San Pedro (across from Expo New Mexico).
