Job Description
Molzen Corbin, an employee-owned company, has been delivering high-quality engineering and architectural solutions to New Mexico communities for over 65 years. We are seeking a Survey Field/CAD Technician to perform field surveying services, survey calculations, data analysis, CAD drafting, mapping, title and record research, including site control and data collection. This role works closely with project team members, engineers, and technical staff. Candidates should have a working knowledge of surveying principles, engineering plans, legal descriptions, field instrumentation, survey equipment, and robotic total stations. Experience required in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Experience with drone technologies or Part 107 certification is a plus. Prefer a minimum of 5 years of experience. Strong math, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are essential. The position requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; travel and work extended hours, including in remote or rural areas; and lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
