The Village of Tijeras supplies water to its residents with two groundwater wells. In the past few years, Well No 1 has been losing capacity and is not expected to remain a viable source of supply for much longer. The Molzen Corbin Team designed and oversaw drilling and installation of a new water well to secure the future water supply for the Village. The completed well can produce high-quality water at a sustainable rate of 90 gallons per minute and is expected to provide decades of reliable water for potable and fire-fighting purposes. Molzen Corbin designed the pumping and disinfection facilities, a well house, and controls to allow the well to fill either of the Village’s two tanks.
