What started as a rather minor reconstruction of approximately one third of Runway 12-30 at the Lea County Regional Airport in Hobbs, turned into reconstruction of the entire runway. Molzen Corbin completed the project in time for the 2016 grant year and split the project into three bid lots to meet the budget. The deadline was met and competitive bidding resulted in relatively good prices so that all three bid lots were awarded for a $7 million construction project. This was the largest grant that FAA sent to New Mexico in 2016.

Scope of Work
