Molzen Corbin designed and provided construction administration services for the extension of utilities (storm drainage, water, sanitary sewer, electricity and fiber optic communication) to the 200 acre Aerospace Technology Park (ATP). The project was designed on a fast track schedule to allow the City to meet contractual to a major tenant. A new fiber optic trunk and distribution system was installed at the ATP as well as into DEII Airport to provide an improved communications system for the airport and the industrial park. Qwest was not able to provide adequate telephone service into the ATP due to a lack of capacity in the area. The Aviation Department owns the fiber optic system.
