This multi-purpose recreational park for the City of Belén is a 47-acre facility that includes soccer and softball fields; basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts; a jogging trail; picnic facilities; and a bandshell and viewing green for events. Buildings on the site include public restrooms and a indoor multi-purpose recreation facility. The master plan of the park included a significant stormwater system that manages historic offsite flows with channels and a drainage pond that can be used as an athletic field. The site design enables parking close to all venues. We designed the park’s roads and trails in a way that allows vehicles and pedestrians to circulate through the park with minimum conflict.
