Belen

Community pride and leadership commitment spurred the recent revitalization of Belén’s Becker Street, which updated everything from benches and street lamps, to pedestrian enhancements, to utilities and drainage. This project was designed as an integral component of the City’s Main Street Program.

This project restored damaged areas caused by extreme rainfall events and included grading of the channel and installation of grade control structures and rip-rap armor to protect strategic channel locations.

Molzen Corbin recently designed a multi-use path connection between a roadway (Mesa Road), through a high school, to a multipurpose park area, that included development of safe pedestrian path and access control to the high school from a previously open, dirt road.

Molzen Corbin designed the original City of Belen public library and its subsequent remodel/addition.

Molzen Corbin designed the original Belén Senior Citizens’ Center as a 9,800-square-foot, multi-use facility.

Molzen Corbin designed the Belen Multi-Purpose Community Center to serve the needs of all ages, from children through senior citizens. The Center provides a venue where the City can provide programs to support the health and well-being of the community.

Molzen-Corbin master planned and designed this 47-acre facility that includes soccer and softball fields, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, skate park, a jogging/cycling trail, picnic facilities, a bandshell and viewing green for events such as Cinco de Mayo.
