The Lea County Regional Airport Airfield Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Building was mechanically designed to include a highly energy-efficient Evaporative cooling and Natural gas heating system. The 8,200 sq. ft. facility showcases 2 double length apparatus bays for support areas where the vehicles and firefighting equipment will be cleaned and stored. The system features Package DX/Natural gas roof top units for sleeping quarters and office areas. The plumbing design incorporates roof drain, sewer, vent, domestic water, natural gas, and compressed air systems.
