Commitment to Community

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (August 23, 2019) – Molzen Corbin’s nearly 60-year history of successful projects is visible throughout the State of New Mexico. What is not as visible—but equally important--is our nearly 60-year commitment to serving the communities where we live and work. Our commitment extends beyond engineering and architecture; it includes working to make a difference every day in these communities. In fact, “commitment to community” has long been a tenet of our President and Owner, Del Archuleta, MS, PE. “I am proud of our legacy of giving back to the community. We are fully vested in the future of New Mexico; this is our home, these are our families, this is our future.”
This dedication to shaping the future of New Mexico continues today, and Molzen Corbin is pleased to announce the following employee accomplishments:
Daniel Gonzales, PE, Vice President of Electrical Engineering: Daniel was recently selected to Leadership Albuquerque’s Class of 2020. The goal of Leadership Albuquerque is to prepare business leaders from any industry for greater leadership roles within their companies and the community as a whole. Daniel is the fifth member of Molzen Corbin’s executive team to participate in this 10-month long program.
Kevin Eades, PE, Executive Vice President, Civil Department Leader: Kevin is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Albuquerque and is furthering his dedication to New Mexico by participating in Leadership New Mexico’s 2020 Core Program. This 10-month long program gathers leaders from across the state to discuss, analyze, and develop solutions for New Mexico’s most pressing issues (such as education and aging infrastructure). Kevin explained, “Because we are a home-grown New Mexico business, we appreciate the struggles our communities face on a daily basis, and we work to design “right-sized” solutions that are practical, sustainable, and durable. With Leadership New Mexico, I am looking forward to meeting leaders from across the state and understanding what challenges they face.”
Del Archuleta, MS, PE, Owner and President: Del was recently appointed for a three-year term to the University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) Board of Trustees. The 9-member Board of Trustees meets monthly and is tasked with representing the community’s interests at UNMH through planning, advocacy, and oversight. Del brings a wealth of corporate board and community service experience to this role, having served in leadership positions for numerous boards, including New Mexico Gas Company, Bank of Albuquerque, New Mexico First, Public Service Company of New Mexico, New Mexico Mutual, United Way of Central New Mexico, Explora! Science Center and Children’s Museum, New Mexico State University, and Presbyterian Healthcare Services.
At Molzen Corbin, we understand that the fabric that holds our communities together is stronger than just the infrastructure projects we work on every day; it is made up of us as community members and the connections we hold with the people and places around us. We congratulate Daniel, Kevin, and Del in continuing our long standing tradition of building a stronger New Mexico through public service and community involvement.
