Molzen Corbin designed slope protection using gabion baskets at the UNM Championship Golf Course to protect this premier golf facility from storm drainage flows from the Albuquerque International Sunport, located next to the course.

This project restored damaged areas caused by extreme rainfall events and included grading of the channel and installation of grade control structures and rip-rap armor to protect strategic channel locations.

Los Lunas

Molzen Corbin acted as the Engineer Supervising Construction for this $1.1-million flood control project, which was designed to protect the Village of Los Lunas against flows from a nearby arroyo.

100-year storms overwhelmed the Barelas Pump Station in Albuquerque in 2006, contributing to flooding that displaced dozens of residents.

Molzen Corbin has been continuously involved with the City of Albuquerque's/Water Utility Authority’s wastewater treatment projects over the past 30 years at the Southside Water Reclamation Plant (SWRP), particularly those involving expansion and renovation of existing facilities.

Molzen Corbin planned, designed, and provided construction phase services for wastewater treatment and disposal facilities serving the golf course community of Las Campañas near Santa Fe.

Molzen Corbin recently designed and helped construct extensive treatment and reuse facilities for the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA).

Effluent reuse water is stored in a 250,000-gallon steel reservoir at the treatment plant in the City of Las Vegas, NM. Most of this reuse water is pumped to storage ponds incorporated into the redesign of the Highlands University Golf Course, and is now used to irrigate the course. Other reuse water is applied to baseball fields at Keys Park.

Molzen Corbin developed a wastewater treatment facility that is capable of managing a wide range of design flows anticipated at Spaceport.

Las Cruces

Molzen Corbin has a long-standing relationship with the City of Las Cruces that includes almost all work on the City’s wastewater treatment facility, including initial planning and design of the facility and collection system.
